She starts with a vision what she would like to paint. Suddenly the painting takes control and it goes into another direction. As if the hands know better than the brain. Sabine just lets it happen. At the end the artwork is alway a pleasent surprise. It seems like her paintings have their own life and will.

The abstract artist loves vibrant colors but blue and pink are her favorites and are often to be found in her artworks. She is drawn to organic forms, prefers acrylic colors and uses several painting techniques. Lately she started to work with some neutral colors also. 

How did Sabine become a painter? 
Sabine was born in 1963 under the sign of libra in Marburg/Germany.  She grew up in the beautiful hessian countryside. But since her childhood she dreamed about traveling to foreign exotic countries and getting to know the world.

One of her earliest childhood memories is drawing pictures. Painting and creating came always easily and naturally to her. 

In her twenties she lived in Oakland, California and in Paris, France.
Back in Germany she became a flight attendant. A dream turned into reality. She has been traveling to the most attractive and beautiful places in the world as a crew member for three decades (Europe, America, Asia, Africa and Australia).

Sabine´s artist soul got nourished with paticularly colorful and unforgettable impressions. Back at home this extraordinary input finds its way onto the canvas. Together with her husband Lui she lives in Wiesbaden, Germany.
